Algebrawesome
Or not. I wanted to take things slow this semester with the move to Germany, so I signed up for only one course. My classes run on 8 week semesters, so 1 course counts half time, I suppose. I generally take two. Anyways, I decided that I would take this course as it is a requirement for my Bachelors. I am generally a straight 3.75 GPA student, but I don’t think I can keep that up this semester. I can write a 20 page report on psychoanalyzing a bullfrog, but algebra is kicking my butt! So I am sad about this and I will try my hardest on this course, but I will be happy as long as I pass with a C.

We finally got our household goods in last Wednesday and have been busy busy setting up house. I love this place! The house is the perfect size for our family and we even have room for a second baby whenever that eventually happens.
We have been buying many houseplants. Miles is partial to the Orchids (which he insists is a manly hobby because they look so badass ;) ). I like them all and I am just happy that they clean our air, look nice, and that Roscoe doesn’t seem hell bent on slaughtering them. I have forgiven my dog, by the way, and as long as I repress the mouse incident, my feelings towards him are warm and fuzzy.
I am taking Lea to the Kaiserslaughtern Zoo tomorrow with my complete angel (I am thinking she should be nominated for sainthood) of a neighbor. Hopefully I can memorize enough German beforehand to get us season passes. Yay!
Okay. There is more newness concerning Lea, but I will write about it in my next blog. It is such a pretty day and the Phaltzervauld is calling.
um i'm going to going algebra=not awesome. LOL
ReplyDeleteyou better be sharing some pics of Germany soon! i am waaaay jealous of your new home in Europe and want to fantasize a bit.
have fun at the zoo!
I probably would flunk so a C will be great (and I was an A student!).
ReplyDeleteOrchids are totally manly LOL too funny!
And I just got a dog and when I saw him the first time I thought "Roscoe" and so named him that. Everyone asked me where I got that name and could not for the life of me figure it out. I came back to visit your blog and realized that I must have sub-consciously picked it up from reading your critter post last week! So weird!
Pictures! Shame on me because I have not even busted out my camera here yet. I will get to that very soon.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new doggy, Jessi. I hope he is better behaved than my depraved little beastie ;)
