We go to the zoo pretty much weekly, so here are a few pics from Saturday's visit.

She loves um "Weafs"

I was confused about how the porcupines could cuddle like that.

Ah

Cheese

I have always thought he is a handsome fella

18 (or is it 19? Umm. . . ) weeks pregnant. There's a bump I swear.

They carbonate juice here. Lea thinks it's fabulous.

It has been a solid 5 days since Lea's last nursing. She mentioned it this morning, but I was able to change the subject and she didn't make any fuss at all. I am thinking this is it. I am a little sad (deep down) that it's over and I may never nurse her again, but I believe that it's time. I now have about 4 1/2 months to "rest up". That's enough for me.

Ladies, I think I want to cloth diaper #2 and I am looking for good info on it. How do I wash, disinfect, etc cloth diapers? What are the best brands? Any books on the matter? HELP!

  1. i have never seen you with straight hair! you are abosultely beautiful and i can totally see the bump! :)

as for cloth diapering, i recommend leaving a comment over on Jessi A.'s blog (i think it's still called Love With Caution on mine) and she can help you through and would be delighted to do so. she helped me out and i am pleased with how things are working. we chose prefolds + Thirsties & Bummis covers. she referred me to greenmountaindiapers.com and they are a great site. good luck!

  2. Awesome. We need to get a place with an easier laundry situation, but a move is in our near future (hopefully) so I will be in a good position to cloth diaper for the first time ever. Laundry has never been one of my housewife strongpoints :C

Anywho, thanks about the hair. I like it straight, but Miles likes the curly look, so he usually wins out. Yay for having a bump. I am in that awkward stage where the baby could easily be mistaken for chub.

  3. Awww I love the little bump! I never got to see you preggers!! Lea just gets more and more beautiful every time I see her!
Good luck on the cloth diapering! I know that there are some great support groups out there that have some great information on cloth diapering with tips and stuff like that. Try cafemom, or there might even be a cloth diapering blog on here!
Miss you both! Wish we could have a play date...

Lea is so cute, and you're looking good.
