All children have their quarks. They change through time (sometimes) but they can be pretty cute while they last. Lea calls all things that write "Yellows". It doesn't matter if it's a marker of a crayon, it's a YELLOW. She knows a few different colors, but if is a blue crayon, it's a blue yellow. Huh. She also puts things (mainly acorns) down her shirt front and calls it a pocket. It's adorable. Those are just a couple that stand out right now.
In any case, I think these things are so cute, I am curious about the cuteness of my readers' kids. Lets share the quarkiness.
Hannah does the exact same thing with the front of her shirt and calls it a pocket, but with sorting blocks, not acorns, LOL. Another crazy thing she does is everything we eat is Macaroni or alfredo. And she LOVES pickles, when we wake up she says "Eat Pickle now?" and asks about a million times till I give her one after lunch. Its so funny.
ReplyDeleteAnd when she is going potty and she has gone #2 she always points in the potty and says "Banana in there!" I explain to her its poo, but she still says its a banana. I am just hoping she doesn't...eww I am not even going to type that.
I love the "yellows", thats adorable!
Have you told her that baby sisser is going to be baby brover?
Miss you guys!!
I have tried. We even went out and bought her a baby brother doll (she has a million babies, but NONE were boys!).
ReplyDeleteI love the banana thing. We are trying to get Lea to poo in the potty. This gets old fast because she can't tell between farts and poop yet, and she farts a lot. So she'll tell me she has to "poopoo in the potty" about 20 times a day.
I think the idea of pockets is intriguing to them at this age. It's very cute.
